About The Role

The Cloud Business Unit has adopted a bimodal approach to delivering managed services. This allows Claranet to support customers running workloads in either mode-1 or mode-2 on any platform. In order to achieve this in the most efficient way possible, a Managed Service Framework has been developed to cover both practices. The result of the framework is the creation of two distinct teams – SysOps and CloudOps.

The SysOps team is responsible for the implementation and support of mode-1 workloads. These workloads could be running on hyper-scaler public cloud, Claranet Cloud, dedicated customer platforms or on-premise customer equipment. The SysOps team has a primary focus of “Automate First” in order to drive operational efficiency through the reduction of re-occurring tasks.

The Senior Implementation Engineer for SysOps role has the responsibility for implementation and support of Operating Systems including Microsoft and various Linux distributions.

Working in SysOps we can offer an environment where you will be surrounded by like-minded, highly technical people.  Due to the nature of our business, interesting projects and the possibility to learn and use new technologies are commonplace. We want you to develop and grow as our organization does.

We’re working on building an ever-improving company based on openness, diversity, collaboration, and empathy as our core values, a company that aims to be inclusive for the diverse group of people we get to work with, and where everyone supports each other and celebrates successes together.
