About The Role

This is a combined role, primarily a Business Analyst, but also a competent Project Manager

To elicit requirements for new business solutions or improvements to existing systems and guide their delivery

  • Capture and document requirements for system/feature specifications and/or process improvements
  • Support integration of new businesses as needed
  • Provide solution support, training and administration.
  •  Engage with business users and stakeholders from Claranet UK to establish needs, document requirements, analyse and propose solutions
  • Prepare project documents including project initiation documents, requirements lists, scope, project plans etc.
  • From signoff, manage projects to completion, leveraging both internal and external resources and ensuring stakeholder engagement ensuring they are delivered within budget.
  • Create test scenarios for unit, functional and user testing
  • Create training documentation supporting the successful delivery of projects.
  • Administration of core platforms as required to support the delivery and ongoing development of solutions.
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to stake holders and management
  • Contribute to the strategic development of process, business and domain data models for the Claranet UK Business.
  • Some Travel in the UK will be required.


About You

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience working as part of or leading a team.
  • Able to demonstrate the use of analytical skills to resolve problems.
  • Ability to talk to internal customers to gather business requirements, understand challenges and effectively document them so that they are understood by the Business and developers and/or external suppliers.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office 365 tools.

Personal Qualities Required and level at which to be demonstrated:

  • Ability to work effectively in high pressure situations.
  • Proactive flexible and Organised approach.
  • Ability to communicate and convey ideas clearly with team members including developers and people external to the team who will have differing levels of technical knowledge and experience.
  • Strong customer service skills and demonstrated the ability to build professional relationships.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Team Player who is eager to learn and develop new skills.
  • Flexibility to work with a variety of personalities and styles.

In addition, the following are highly desirable:

  • Knowledge of requirements capture and management methodologies.
  • Understanding of Service Provider technologies such as IP, MPLS, virtualisation, web hosting an advantage.
  • Previous demonstratable experience leading a project or projects to successful delivery.
  • Previous experience with Salesforce or Service Now.

Education, Qualifications, and Special Training:

  • Degree in one of the following areas
    • Business Management / Administration
    • Computing
    • Information Technology / Information Systems
    Or 1 Years’ experience in Operational or Development Role for an MSP, Cloud or Telco Business
