About The Role

This is a combined role, primarily a Business Analyst, but also looking for candidates who hold experience as a Project Manager.

To elicit requirements for new business solutions or improvements to existing systems and guide their delivery.

  • Capture and document requirements for system/feature specifications and/or process improvements.
  • Support integration of new businesses systems and process as needed.
  • Engage with business users and stakeholders to establish needs, document requirements, analyse and propose solutions
  • Prepare project documents including project initiation documents, requirements lists, scope, project plans etc.
  • From sign-off, manage projects to completion, leveraging both internal and external resources and ensuring stakeholder engagement.
  • Create test scenarios for unit, functional and user testing.
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to management.
  • Be the advocate of their assigned business unit.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of process and business models for Claranet UK.
  • Travel in the UK will be required.

About You

 
  Essential Experience 
  • Previous experience presenting to teams and senior managers.
    Proven experience as a Business Analyst, process mapping and project management experience.
  • Knowledge of requirements capture and management methodologies.
  • Can demonstrate previous experience delivering small to medium projects successfully.
  • Demonstration of using analytical skills to resolve business problems.
  • Business analysis skills and ability to talk to internal customers to gather business requirements, understand challenges and effectively document them in so that they are understood by the Business and developers and/or external suppliers.

  Personal Qualities Required and level at which to be demonstrated
  • Proactive flexible and Organised approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in high pressure situations
    • Experience in requirements elicitation
    • Stakeholder management
    • Requirement documentation (with the ability to adapt the style as appropriate depending on the scope, scale and complexity of a project.
  •  Ability to communicate and convey ideas clearly with team members including developers and people external to the team who will have differing levels of technical knowledge and experience.
  • Strong customer service skills and demonstrated the ability to build professional relationships.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Team Player who is eager to learn and develop new skills.
  • Flexibility to work with a variety of personalities and styles.

    Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Understanding of Service Provider technologies such as IP, MPLS, virtualisation, web hosting an advantage.
  • Previous experience in IT managed service provider, telecommunications technology or similar business environment
  • Previous hands on experience with Salesforce or Service Now.
 Education, Qualifications, and Special Training
  • Degree or demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas
    • Business Management / Administration
    • Information Technology / Information Systems
  • BCS or equivalent certification or can demonstrate completion of training towards diploma.
  • Experience using Waterfall and or Agile methodologies an advantage.
  • Prince 2 certification an advantage.
  • Knowledge of ITIL v3 and/or ITIL 4
