About The Role

The Cloud Practice is the team that builds and transforms large infrastructure estates for a wide-ranging and diverse set of customers. We help them choose the right tools and services, build highly scalable secure infrastructure and help them manage the maintenance of those environments. We come up with creative solutions to difficult problems and every engineer gets to have a large direct impact on each of those customers.

The team is made up of engineers from all around the country in distributed teams. You can work fully remote or at any Claranet UK office - most people choose a combination of the two. We’ve worked hard to create a remote-friendly culture and believe you can have a big impact no matter where you live.

Working in the Cloud Practice we can offer an environment where you will be surrounded by like-minded, highly technical people.  Due to the nature of our business, interesting projects and the possibility to learn and use new technologies are commonplace. We want you to develop and grow as our organization does.

The Role

As one of the Dedicated Cloud Engineers of this team, your main role is to understand customer’s needs and to take ownership of the implementation of customer projects. You’ll drive decision-making in the team and help define, shape and improve how the team works.

You’ll be focused and dedicated on one of our strategically important customers ensuring that they receive the best possible service, achieve their outcomes, and help drive further opportunities for Claranet to add-value.

If you relish solving technically interesting problems and want to work with a team that can help you expand your skills and knowledge, we can provide the right environment for you.

We’re working on building an ever-improving company based on openness, diversity, collaboration, and empathy as our core values, a company that aims to be inclusive for the diverse group of people we get to work with, and where everyone supports each other and celebrates successes together.
