About The Role

The Cancellations Executive team forms an integral part of the customer and third-party supplier cancellation process within the business with the overall objective of processing every customer and third-party supplier cancellation on a timely and accurate basis to provide a streamlined customer experience together with minimizing the retention of unnecessary costs.
 
Processing Customer Cancellations (BAU)

Manage the queues that contain customer cancellation requests received by Claranet.
Review the customer cancellation requests received by Claranet, prioritising which cancellation requests to work through first.
Analyse each customer cancellation request liaising with internal customers to establish the required information and determine the date at which the billing and the physical service should cease.
Process the customer cancellation request via Messina which involves:
o Cancelling the relevant products / services in Messina including updating the Notes section to provide an audit trail.
o Communicate with the customer to confirm that the cancellation has been processed.
o Liaise with Credit Control if any credit notes need generating.
 
Adhoc

To undertake additional adhoc duties as directed by the Cancellations Team Leader.

About You

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
Demonstrable experience in a customer facing role.
Strong organization and prioritization skills.
Strong analytical skills and ability to understand data and act on it.
High level of data entry with excellent accuracy levels.
Self motivated and able to work on own initiative in the absence of direct leadership.
Good knowledge of MS Office applications specifically Microsoft Excel.
Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
Can do, flexible attitude. 
Highly motivated and energetic team player.
