Position SummaryThe IT Support & Information Security Engineer will support internal technology services and help strengthen the organisation’s information security and compliance posture. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Day-to-day IT support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and connectivity issues
- Endpoint administration, deployment, hardening and lifecycle management
- User onboarding, offboarding, access provisioning and identity management support
- Security incident triage, containment, recovery and post-incident documentation
- Vulnerability remediation, patch management and endpoint security baseline monitoring
- ISO 27001 ISMS support, compliance evidence management and audit coordination
The successful candidate will combine strong technical troubleshooting skills with practical information security knowledge, sound judgement and the ability to collaborate effectively across IT operations, security governance and compliance activities.
This role is expected to provide responsive user support, maintain secure endpoint operations, support audit readiness and promote a culture of security awareness, accountability and continuous improvement.
Objectives & Key ResultsThe IT Support & Information Security Engineer will:
- Deliver timely resolution of IT support requests in line with agreed service levels
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune and Windows Server environments
- Maintain secure, compliant and well-documented endpoint operations across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android devices
- Support the investigation, containment, recovery and documentation of security incidents in line with approved response procedures
- Contribute to vulnerability assessments, patch management, endpoint hardening and continued alignment with security baselines
- Coordinate ISO 27001 evidence, support internal and external audits and help ensure the timely closure of audit findings
- Maintain accurate IT asset records, support documentation, knowledge base articles and operational records
- Contribute to security awareness, incident response testing, disaster recovery and business continuity activities
